Today was the day thousands of teenagers across the region had been waiting for - the day they finally got to see their A Level results. Schools across Walsall opened up early this morning so students could be put out of their misery. Nationally, the number of A* grades achieved rose, although the percentage of A grades fell. The overall pass rate rose for the 29th successive year. Some students will now have secured a place at their first choice university, while others face another anxious wait.

So, how did you do? What do you think of the traditional debate about exams getting easier? Is there more pressure on modern students? Let us know.
