Today was the day thousands of teenagers across the region had been waiting for - the day they finally got to see their A Level results. Schools across Walsall opened up early this morning so students could be put out of their misery. Nationally, the number of A* grades achieved rose, although the percentage of A grades fell. The overall pass rate rose for the 29th successive year. Some students will now have secured a place at their first choice university, while others face another anxious wait.
