Week 16 – and there's less than £4,000 to go
By Walsall Advertiser | Friday, November 30, 2012, 09:00
GENEROUS Advertiser readers have took the total raised for Helen's Appeal
past the halfway mark.
This week's running total stands at £6,210.65, meaning that more than £1,000 has been raised in the past seven days.
We are now even further on track to raising the £10,000 needed.
The funds raised will be used to fund six months' work of St Giles nurse Helen Simkins.
Helen's Appeal is a joint campaign from the Advertiser and St Giles Walsall Hospice, and readers can make a donation using the form printed on this page or online at www.justgiving.com/helensappeal.
Alternatively, readers can take part in one of the many events taking place over the coming weeks and months that will be featured in this paper, or by organising their own fund-raiser.
