SANTA attracted scores of children in Aldridge on Saturday (December 8) as he paid an early visit ahead of his busiest night of the year to collect youngsters' wish-lists.
The visit was part of Aldridge and District Lions Club's fundraising to support their work in the coming year.
Lions president Harry Fry said: "Last year we had a very poor series of Christmas collections as we had to cancel several due to the severe bad weather. We have been very fortunate with our collections this year and have had good responses from the shoppers at both Morrisons in Aldridge and Asda in Great Barr. Saturday, in Aldridge Precinct, also saw the generosity of people. We are most grateful for their kindness."
The Lions will be holding collections at Tesco in Brownhills this Saturday and Sunday.
