The Walsall Music Festival is less than two weeks away, and Reverend and The Makers have been confirmed as the headline act for the December 1 event.

The Sheffield-based indie band, fronted by 'The Reverend' Jon McClure, have released three studio albums and have enjoyed chart success with songs such as Heavyweight Champion of the World.

They also supported Oasis on their final tour, and have just completed their own tour of the UK, playing to venues such as the Shepherd's Bush Empire and Academy at Birmingham.

Walsall's first ever music festival will be spread across a variety of town centre venues next Saturday, with Reverend and The Makers playing to a ticketed party at the Town Hall in the evening.
