Obeng was released from hospital on Saturday evening
The prolific frontman was hurt in after a second half challenge and, after receiving treatment, he collapsed pitchside.
An ambulance then arrived to take the 21 year-old - suspected of suffering a broken rib and a punctured lung - to hospital.
However, after undergoing tests, Obeng was released from hospital later on Saturday evening after X-rays showed no break.
He later tweeted: "Waking up in hospital today was very scarring after collapsing on the pitch against Chorley. Am ok now, back home. Thank you all."
He also revealed that the injury is likely to keep him out for two to three weeks.
After his injury saw the match delayed by 20 minutes, the two sides went on to play out a stalemate which sees Rushall drop to fifth place in the table - level on points with Chorley.
