England under-21 boss Stuart Pearce is urging Walsall fans to support his young Lions after it was announced that they will play Sweden in a friendly international at the Banks's in February.

The under-21 side, who are preparing to contest the Euro 2013 finals in Israel this summer, could include high profile Premier League stars such as Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling and Nick Powell.

Ticket details have already been announced for the game - which will take place on Tuesday February 5 at 7.30pm - with adult tickets costing £10, children getting in for £5 and a family ticket (two adults, two children) costing £20.

Pearce told the FA website: "It's not a ground we've played at with the under 21s before, so it will be a first for the club.

"Hopefully the Walsall fans can come along and get behind us and enjoy a good night of international football."

The match is also set to be screened live on ESPN.
