The BBC's Children in Need fundraising drive smashed its own record total on Friday, and staff and students from Walsall College played their part in the day's activities.

A range of money-raising activities took place at the college, with Pudsey the bear even putting in an appearance.

Students turned up in fancy dress on Friday and held collections around the college, sold cakea and held a karaoke competition.

A mass performance of the Gangnam Style dance also contributed to the total of over £500 which the college raised for the charity.

Helen Griffiths, Learner Experience Officer at Walsall College, said: "It's fantastic to see students and staff across the college working together to come up with innovative ideas to raise funds for such worthwhile causes."
