Rushall Olympic's FA Trophy run was brought to an end by a clinical Wrexham side this weekend.

The Welsh outfit, who are pushing for promotion back to the Football League, took the lead early on and never looked back, eventually beating the ten-man visitors 5-0.

The first goal arrived after 14 minutes, when an error from Kyle Haynes allowed Wrexham player-manager Andy Morrell to stroke home his first of the game.

Morrell doubled his tally soon afterwards, producing another good finish to beat Chris Gemmell.

The Pics battled on manfully despite the two goal deficit, with Ahmed Obeng, Hakeem Islam and Danny Bragoli all going close before half time.

The visitors' task was made even harder on the hour mark though, as Islam was awarded a second yellow card for a tackle from behind.

With a man advantage, Wrexham were able to convincingly close out the game - Morrell completed his hat-trick and Adrian Cieslewicz and Declan Walker also got their names on the scoresheet.

The final scoreline was a harsh end to a magnificent run for the Pics, who are now left to focus on the league, starting with a home game against Buxton tomorrow evening.
